Berry Sweet Faux Mosaic

Happy Saturday!  I have a Berry Sweet card today.........

I had fun being invited to be a guest designer for the Technique Junkies newsletter for Feb/March 2012. This is one of the fun techniques I was assigned to try- and it is called Faux Mosiac.  While the technique called for a tag- I really wanted to make a card with this fun DSP and this fun digi image by Sweet n Sassy Stamps called Cocoa Mouse Berry Sweet. The image is colored with Copic markers. Do you love the background technique- I used Perfect Pearls for the seams and border- and there is a great glazed effect over the top that is hard to see.
The ribbon and tag sentiment and tag punch are by Stampin Up. I added a little bit of lace to go with the pink and the feminine touch to the card.

Challenges:
Crafty Catz Challenge- Use Punches and Dies
Stampin for the Weekend- BINGO Ribbon, Lace, Die Cuts
Cooking It Up With Katie- Your three favorite things 1)Pink, Pink. Pink (anything- but DSP and Perfect Pearls) , 2)Lace, 3) Technique Junkies Technique- Faux Mosiac
Try It On Tuesday- Mosiac
Crazy Challenge- Anything Goes
Beverly's Pink Saturday- link up anything Pink

Thanks for stopping by!
