Sweet Stamps- Anything Goes

This is my last post as a DT member for Sweet Stamps. It has been a wonderful experience working for Stacey and her family- it is just a time where I need to focus alot of energy on my family.
Here is my final post:

There are new Halloween Piccolo Accents in the store- and they are so fun!  I used Enamel Embossing Powders to color the accents- applied with the Enamel Adhesive. I used the following Enamel EP's- Starry Sky for the bats, the bird and 'Spooky', Mossy Glen is the green, Real Rust is the fence and the cross, Aged White is the ghost and the tombstones, and Brownstone was used for the tree.
The DP is by K & Company from Halloween (a year or two old). The cardstock is SU. The die for the card fold is by Stamp Doctor.

Challenges:
Pie it On- Cute or Spooky
Outlawz- Paper a la Mode- Halloween
Chocolate, Coffee and Cards- Halloween

Fall Blessings

Hi. I am posting a card I put together at a Fall retreat a couple of weeks ago- the background was on a table where people shared items they no longer care to keep- the sharing table : )

The image was a gift from a friend- PSX Sunflower. I colored it with Copics and trimmed it closely fussy cutting. I used a CD to make the red circle out of cardstock. The sentiment is from Create with TLC.
I am away until the end of the week- I'll have little snippets of time to visit blogs while away, but will be catching up when I return.

Dueling Darlings October

The Dueling Darlings, aka the Dazzlers and Diva's have received card making kits from our hostesses Deb (Dazzlers) and Judy (Divas). The theme they chose is "Falling into New Friendships".
I colored my cards using Prismacolor Pencils.  I have not had them out of their tin in AGES! I have a list of color matches, and tried my best to coordinate the colors. I used the Sketch from MoJo Monday 419.  I had just a small swatch of Cajun Craze cardstock.

I made this card using a theme for the SCS HYCCT 1510- make a card with a tag on it. On the inside of this card, I added DP down the edge and used a Cajun Pumpkin that came in the kit.

The sweet image chosen for the Dazzlers is called Sweetest Pumpkin in the Patch by My Favorite Things. Sentiment also MFT Chalkboard Greetings and Sweetest Pumpkin in the Patch.

Purple- not Just for Halloween.........

Purple is the color for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I found a Hop on the Blog HERE, so decided to join in.

1 in 3 women will experience domestic violence over the course of their lifetimes.
Let that sink in - 33% of all the women you meet.

And women aren't the only people who are affected! Women, men, transgender - gender doesn't matter. Domestic violence is something that exists regardless of gender, socioeconomic status, religion, education level, etc.

I used an image from Sweet Stamps, I colored with Distress inks and spritzed on a little spray of water to soften up the colors.  The DP I used was black and white, and I used Distress Ink to color it purple. The enamel dots are home made- melted Perler beads cut in half.

I am linking HERE to The Damzel in Distress Blog where the HOP starts. Your card has to be uploaded by Wednesday 10/14/15 by 12 noon.

Hope You Can Cling to- challenge 8

A card for the Hope You Can Cling To HYYCT8 challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.

This is a card kit that has been sitting on my desk for a very long time. I won it in a Facebook Group called Christian Cardmakers from Ginny Maxam.  I added color using Copics and there is a lot of shimmer on the flower added with a Sakura Gelly Roll pen. I added a strip of DP under the musical notes ribbon.
Next, I added home made enamel dots.  Yep- I bought a giant tub of Perler beads, cut each one in half, and put them in the oven......  I found the link on the internet : )  Pony beads work as well, but they turn out pretty large.

I do not know who makes the image or where any of the papers come from.

Sweet Stamps Monday Inspiration

I hope you will join the Sweet Stamps Anything Goes October challenge. Here is some  'Anything Goes'  Monday Inspiration:

Hehehehe  How do you like this frog?  Smoochies are a coming for someone!

I stamped the image (Frog Prince Kiss) with Tuxedo Black Memento,  and colored with Copic Sketch markers. I added shimmer on the crown jewels with a Sakura Gelly Roll pen (stardust).  I layered the image on a piece of burlap painted with Gesso, and sponged on some Valentine Shades Ink (spot).

I added a little dimension by using a Sweet Stamps Rounded Squares stencil and sponging on Valentine Shades die ink, and added a touch of shimmer with the Sakura Gelly Roll pen again.

All SweetStamps.com stamps and stencils are made in the USA : )

I jump started my creativity using the Sketch Saturday Sketch challenge.

Autumn/Halloween with Michael Strong Stamps

The ladies in the Michael Strong Yahoo group are having a Halloween/Autumn Blog Hop today- it is Michael's Birthday. Happy Birthday Michael!!!

The Hop started at Michael's Blog, and if you are hopping, you came here from Peg's Blog : )

I decided to make an Autumn card- I have a goal to USE stamps that have NOT seen ink yet. I used the Seasonal Silhouettes stamp set.

I used Distress ink pads on the background and blended on Fall colors : Barn Door, Shabby Shutters, Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge. I inked up the leaf and not the outer border using Distress markers Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, Barn Door and Wild Honey. I added Antique Linen over the top as the white cardstock was a little stark looking......  Next, I added the black border with the Distress Ink (Black) marker.  I huffed on the stamp and I really like how the leaves have variety in color.

The sentiment is from McMahon Five Designs (which has closed).
I used cardstock from DCWV Brights, and added a few sequins (generic).

Your next stop on the Hop is Laura.

If you leave a comment on all of the blogs, you will have a chance to WIN Mike's new Pumpkin Harvest stamp set.

The stamp is from a new release set called Halloween Kids. I colored the image with Copic Sketch markers. The DP is K & C Co. Halloween (I bought this last year).
